Senior Manager, Reporting & Tax, Finance & Operations, PVH China


The role will assist the Senior Director, Finance & Projects in managing financial reporting, internal control and compliance and tax compliance activities.


  • Responsible and supervise for monthly / quarterly / annual closing process and prepare the group reporting package in accordance with PRC GAAP and US GAAP group reporting guidelines for CALVIN KLEIN and TOMMY HILFIGER with the help of the two assitant manager ; attention to details and deliverables with high accuracy are required

  • Review health check over financial statements and key financial indicators by conducting variance analysis comparing with multiple data sources (e.g. vs. budget and forecast, vs. last year) perform by the Finance reporting team.

  • Conduct and coordinate with Regional and Corporate Finance team on quarterly BALANCE SHEET review (CK +TH) and to ensure all items are in line with PVH financial and US GAAP requirement.

  • Lead and supervise the team to complete the PRC statutory reports for both brand (CK+TH) and other regulatory financial and tax reports; If require, coordinate with local tax and treasury department to resolve any outstanding issue pertaining to the submission of the statutory report.

  • Possess comprehensive knowledge on PRC and US tax regulations and be able to provide practical tax advices and to assist Senior Finance Director to complete a given strategy initiatives.

  • Supervise the tax accountant on day-to-day tax activities , including but not limited to, turnover tax calculation and filings, income tax provision computation and annual filings, transfer pricing analysis, intercompany transactions and overseas remittance etc.

  • Familiar with US tax regulations and be able to complete the US tax filing with minimum supervision and are capable provide valuable discussion with external party pertaining to US tax issue.

  • Monitor the inventory and costing function , including but not limited to cost components setting, variance analysis, inventory reserve assessment, and inventory rolling forecast. Regularly review the inventory related policy and make sure the inventory level healthiness.

  • Responsible for internal control and compliance, assist annual SOX review and specific project audit which include of coordinate with Corporate internal audit division in New York and work closely with external auditor to ensure a smooth roll out of SOX project in PVH China

  • Evaluate the business acquisition result , monitor the process and make sure the acquired assets and goodwill reflected properly in consolidation reports.

  • Keep track the accounting standard and policy change, tax regulation update, provide internal training to China finance team.


Direct: Lead a team of 5 members, including two assistant managers with full responsibility to provide mentoring and coaching of the team. To align and motivate all direct report to achieve company strategy initiative.

  • Proficient financial knowledge in both US GAAP and PRC GAAP, strong analytical skills and attention to details

  • Familiar with PRC tax regulations

  • Proficient English skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Can do attitude, proactive



  • At least 6+ years in a Big 4 firm and 4+ years in-house working experience, total at least 15 years relevant working experiences

  • Retail industry working experience is plus


  • Good computer skills, SAP and Hyperion user is plus

  • CPA is plus


  • Bachelor’s degree, major in Finance and accounting, master degree is plus

  • Oversea education and working experience is plus
