VP, Advertising and Integrated Media, The Americas - Tommy Hilfiger

The VP, Advertising and Integrated Media, The Americas is responsible for leading the Media, Advertising and Editorial / Content department, as well as overseeing the NY Creative Studio (TH Agency NYC) and Studio Producer team.


  • Lead, review and oversee $20MM+ advertising, media and content budgets

  • Develop and execute a cohesive and integrated media strategy, to increase and strengthen brand positioning and awareness, with key focus to drive innovation and digital first strategy

  • Oversee and approve channel buys, campaign monitoring, and media optimizations, managing the team’s delivery across integrated planning, activation, optimization and reporting

  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence/Analytics teams to identify consumer learning needs and apply consumer insights to drive optimal campaign creation and execution across all channels

  • Closely collaborate with digital PR/ social teams to provide consistent execution and campaign alignment with all paid media efforts

  • Ensure all teams are adhering to respective budgets of their divisions

  • Identify and implement best practices for measuring and reporting digital KPIs

  • Hold key relationship to other PVH divisions to ensure strategic and budgetary efficiencies.

  • Oversee all media and production agency relationships

  • Hold close relationships to senior level management in media/ publishing and advertising

  • Act as strategic navigator for team by leading the thinking to inspire innovative solutions, creativity and a proactive approach

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, digital tools and platforms and know how to apply them most effectively to achieve business goals

  • Drive innovative and out of the box thinking with respect to new ideas/programs/initiatives, with strong focus on emerging technology ( AI, AR, VR, IoT)

  • Work closely and align with EComm team, to ensure all brand and performance marketing strategies are aligned and optimized

  • Lead and oversee all N.A. Advertising campaign needs, incl. global licensees for watches (Movado) and eyewear/ optical (Safilo) and local NA licensees

  • Closely collaborate with HQ advertising / product marketing teams to ensure global brand consistency across all channels

  • Work closely with marketing director of all LATAM offices (Mexico City. Panama City and Sao Paulo) to ensure seamless integration of all media and advertising objectives for the region

  • Lead content and editorial department to further strengthen global brand voice and spearhead content integration to support both global / brand directives, as well as seasonal category specific conversion driven initiatives, with strong focus on support of EComm.

  • Oversee creative studio, content / editorial and studio producer teams, and drive creative excellence for all N.A. projects, as well as align with HQ creative and content teams on all creative directions

  • Provide proactive leadership, guide on training and development, and mentor staff, coaching to excellence on all teams


  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 12-15 years of experience, with at least 10 years in digital

  • Mix of agency-side and client-side experience

  • Cross-functional experience (media, advertising, creative)

  • Digital pure player or agency background preferred

  • HQ/ regional office experience

  • Exceptional leadership skills and management experience, demonstrated through staff development and implementation of exemplary processes (larger teams 30+)

  • Excellent understanding of the media, advertising business, as well as creative services and it’s day-to-day operations

  • Solid understanding of ad-tech, social platforms, and research and measurement systems

  • Strong Leadership skills

  • Strong Work Ethic

  • Experienced and tactful communicator: Formal written, informal written, verbal; Ability to communicate complex information in easy-to-understand terms; Being able to form tight relationships internally and externally

  • Good intuition

  • Diplomatic in providing strong POV and making difficult decisions

  • Able to work with broad spectrum of people - senior to junior level, multiple mindsets

  • Skilled in presenting to senior level clients and large room of people

  • Collaborate and work well within a team environment

  • Strong analytical and project management skills

  • Strategic mindset , with ability to make complex and difficult decisions

  • Exceptional attention to detail and high standards of quality on all work produced

  • Problem solver

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity

  • Secondary language skill a plus (Spanish, Portuguese)
