Sr Manager Creative Construction - Tommy Hilfiger
The Senior Manager, Creative Construction reports to the Senior Director of Creative Services to build props/furniture for seasonal changes based on corporate initiatives, divisional design themes and merchandising directives for all TH Wholesale and Licensing showrooms, US Full Price Retail Stores, North America Windows, PR Events and Special Projects.
Create interesting visual displays, sets and an atmosphere that relay seasonal message and lifestyle for Wholesale, Licensing, US Full Price Retail Stores, North America Windows, PR Events and Special Projects
Responsible for fabrication and installation of seasonal décor in Licensing and Wholesale showrooms
Source vendors to maintain fair pricing, timing and quality of work.
Manage construction budgets
Manage construction coordinator team by communicating seasonal concepts and overseeing execution
Work on in-store installations and construction of props for US full price retail and North America Windows and Creative Services Visual Presentations
Partner with all of Creative Services as needed on special projects, including installation at events and Tommy shoots and video interviews, etc. (construction of props/furniture)
3-5 years’ experience in showroom and/or store design or display
High school/GED degree or higher
Carpentry/prop building skills
Strong design sense
Knowledge of carpentry tools and equipment
Ability to multi-task
PC Skills – MSOffice and MS Outlook
Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign, a plus
Ability to be flexible to changing business priorities
Creation of design boards
Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines
Ability to creates procedures to improve operation efficiency
Detail oriented/innovative traits necessary
Must be able to find best solutions and developing methods to improve efficiency
Must be flexible to adapt to changing trends of business and projects
Must be flexible to adapt to changing priorities. Some off-hours work, as required. Heavy lifting and painting required.
