Product Strategy & Innovation Speed Coordinator - The Underwear Group
The Advanced Concepts Speed Coordinator will support the Speed Manager in promoting the growth of the speed business through well thought out and strategic test and fast track initiatives for Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger & Core Intimates. The goal is to alleviate risk while creating relevant, beautiful and timely product. We’re the ones responsible for bringing together departments from around the company to ensure that we continue to optimize and grow our speed capabilities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Execute the speed process – manage deadlines in partnership with supply lead.
Ensure key cross-functional partners including the design, marketing & packaging teams are downloaded on speed initiatives and working towards deadlines.
Partner with design to ensure tech packs and CADs are created in a timely manner.
Manage daily communication on product, questions, request, and updates with cross-functional teams.
Schedule all necessary meetings & conference calls with regional teams to get buy in on speed initiatives.
Maintain the speed line matrix. Publish and communicate updates to key cross-functional partners on a regular basis.
Collaborate regularly with cross-functional partners to ensure accurate product information is captured on the line matrix/ visual tools including: FOB, LDP, vendor, etc.
Attend speed kick off meetings via conference calls.
Attend and participate in video conferences for speed fittings.
Update and maintain the speed visual road map in preparation for the monthly approval meetings.
Attend weekly speed cross-functional meeting and update team on status of active speed initiatives.
Support manager on projects outside of the current day to day scope including collecting data and analysis.
Update the speed prioritization file with new initiatives in preparation for the speed pre-approval meeting.
Attend core replenishment selection meeting to understand the regions core strategy in order to initiate new speed tool boxes.
Support manager in creating visual tools as needed for meetings with leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in Merchandising and/or Design
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required in Merchandising or related field
Attention to detail
Team player and highly collaborative
Strong product sensibility
Strong problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills
High level of analytical skills
Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
