Director, Talent Development – PVH Supply - PVH Corp.
The Director will oversee the design and roll-out of PVH Supply Academy and on-going delivery and upgrades. The Director will lead a design team of stakeholders to identify and launch integrated curricula that supports PVH Supply’s mission and focuses on building capabilities to support PVH Supply operating, leadership, and partnership principles. The Director will be responsible for translating the strategic needs of PVH Supply into implications for talent development and to design learning and talent development programs that meet stakeholder needs.
Develop and lead the PVH Supply Academy, a functional academy of PVH U.
Partner with HR for Supply and the Talent Development team to develop Supply L&D strategies to meet current and future Supply business needs through a blended approach of training, exposure, and experience, utilizing multiple delivery methods.
Provide instruction, support, and guidance to all levels of management on how to conduct and implement development planning to support the development of Supply talent.
With partnership from HR and the TM team, lead the design, development, and implementation of training and development programs for the Supply organization, including all levels of leadership, general business, and custom Supply development programs.
Consult with senior management and business unit leaders on learning and development strategies for their areas of responsibility; analyze learning and development needs; design and implement customized programs to address Supply needs.
Lead the Supply Learning Council and facilitate focus groups, courses/sessions, and team building events as needed to ensure the talent development needs are being met.
Work with external instructors/faculty to customize Supply programs, seminars, and materials and ensure high quality delivery of programs for a variety of audiences and levels.
Support the ongoing development of the Supply organization in the areas of talent assessment and development, including train-the-trainer programs, certifications, and related Supply career development initiatives.
Write, design, develop, and maintain various guides, materials, and presentations for a variety of audiences.
Participate in drafting and/or editing of presentations on Supply initiatives for senior executives and councils, related to development activities or initiatives.
Identify new learning solutions to meet market needs and execute on an annual basis.
8 to 10 years of learning and development experience along with strong skills in instructional design, facilitation, needs analysis, and evaluation methods, including computer training and soft skills training delivery experience
Experience in leadership development and translating strategic capability requirements into functional competency models and learning solution design
Experience managing a corporate programs and managing a team
Advanced degree in related field, with Master’s preferred
Certified as a facilitator and experience with facilitating to a Mid-Level leader audience
Project management expertise/certification
Certification in coaching preferred
Knowledge of supply chain management a plus
Strategic thinker and planner
Practiced in relationship building, and the ability to engage global stakeholders
Strong negotiation and influencing skills, and good conflict resolution ability
Strong internal consulting skills
Strong people management, project management, and organizational skills
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Experienced in coaching and assessing leaders
Proven training program design and implementation skills
Strong written communication skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills
