Consumer Insights & Strategy Manager – Calvin Klein North America & The Underwear Group

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join the Consumer Insights & Analytics team, part of the Strategy group for Calvin Klein North America and The Underwear Group. You will be managing a number of projects including product testing, market & consumer trend analysis, and consumer segmentation to drive initiatives and strategies that will result in profitable growth for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on market and consumer trends utilizing data sources such as NPD, TrendAlytics, TrendWatching, WGSN, etc.

  • Identify growth opportunities based on market and consumer trends to guide short term and long product strategy

  • Design in-store and online testing to evaluate commercial potential for new products

  • Work with our direct-to-consumer team to develop testing processes and procedures

  • Partner with internal research team to conduct consumer studies that provide actionable insights to the business

  • Consult cross functional teams on best practices for leveraging consumer data and insights

Skills

We are looking for an exceptional individual who has strong analytical, visualization and communication skills, and a deep understanding of the consumer environment. You will need:

  • Experience leveraging advanced quantitative analysis to drive business objectives

  • Experience with consumer data sources such as NPD, Euromonitor, WGSN, etc.

  • Ability to translate statistical and analytical results into a clear, simple and actionable insights

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Experience with project management and process implementation is a plus

  • Prior experience with primary research and surveying is a plus

Education & Experience

  • University degree, preferably in Economics, Marketing or related field

  • ≥3 years’ experience in consumer insights, analytics or strategy, ideally in the consumer goods or retail industry

  • Software familiarity

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau

  • Basic familiarity with SQL, R, or Python is a plus
