Associate Manager, Embedded Strategic Initiatives – The Underwear Group

The Associate Manager Embedded Strategic Initiatives supports brand growth by enabling and driving Global Supply Chain strategies through thought-partnership, project management, process creation, and key initiative execution. He or she will be responsible for finding links to PVH Supply Strategic Initiative Office to share knowledge and efficiencies across the corporation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Execute and track goals and initiatives

  • Work closely with leadership, global team, and external supply chain partners to create action plans to execute annual strategies, facilitate progress meetings

  • Communicate strategies to cross functional teams and business partners through various mediums (decks, emails, charts, presentations, etc.)

  • Synthesize information and initiatives and communicate effectively across different audiences and levels

  • Measure progress, metrics, and key performance indicators

  • Monitor key process metrics and KPIs and drive improvement in Operational Excellence foundational activities and decisions

  • Establish and drive key foundational processes

  • Roll out and maintain tools and processes to facilitate efficiency and accuracy of information flow across global teams

  • Coordinate best practice information with Strategic Initiatives Office, as well as build future documents, playbooks, and toolkits

  • Identify, recommend, and implement process enhancements based on industry, or corporate best practices

  • Drive continuous improvement

  • Project management

  • Provide support for scoping, planning, and managing initiative projects:

  • Complete and maintain document outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing

  • Facilitate steering committees and working team meetings as necessary to help drive to plan

  • Communicate project status to sponsor and stakeholders

  • Plan & facilitate offsites along with leadership

  • Explore white space opportunities, new ways of working, drive change, influence culture

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in either product development, production or related consulting experience

  • Apparel experience preferred but not required

  • Demonstrated leadership managing or influencing people

  • Proven ability to create, implement and measure new processes

  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Education:

  • University degree

  • PMI Certification is an asset but not required

Skills:

  • Familiarity with project management tools and/or software packages

  • Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities

  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills

  • Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management and other departments

  • Meeting facilitation

  • Excel and Power Point experience

  • Excellent communication skills – verbal & written/framing/details/closure

  • Presence and voice
