Assistant, Fashion Office - CALVIN KLEIN
The Assistant, Fashion Office maintains the image of Calvin Klein brands through the coordination of national advertising campaigns, retail advertising, windows, special events and overall liaison between design, public relations and marketing.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Attend and document product reviews for scheduled advertising and packaging/collateral shoots.
Gather, update and organize a place for all product related information for each Shoot Brief and Advertising Campaign
Coordinate all products with marketing, design and sales for all style outs.
Coordinate pulling product for multiple projects at a time.
Review concept and model selections with Fashion Director.
Coordinate and schedule with Production for all fitting needs required per project.
Be able to speak to the product and the creative concept during style outs.
Ensure communication and approvals on all advertised merchandise by creating Power Point decks and PDF’s.
Works well with the on-set team coordinating, setting up and organizing the product in the photo studio.
Work with the post-production team to make sure product is being properly represented in imagery.
Selection of merchandise with retail store creative teams and Calvin Klein account executives.
Work with Calvin Klein visual team and store display departments regarding presentation of product and concept
Scheduling and coordination of dates of windows with advertising and special events
Traffic all window merchandise to and from retail store
Photograph windows for historical documentation
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience: Minimum 1 year’ experience in styling/product editing within the fashion industry, strong up-to-date knowledge of designers, brands and trends.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a creative field
Proficient in Mac and PC capabilities
Familiarity with Adobe suite preferred
Must love fashion and be up to date with trends and the industry
Must be self-motivated
Must have proven ability to identify issues and recommend solutions
Must work well under heavy deadlines
Must be a team player and work well with other
Must be a good communicator – both verbal and written
Must have a positive attitude
Must be highly organized with a high level of attention to detail
