Data Analyst - PVH Corp.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for enhancing and supporting existing and new wholesale business systems and to streamline existing practices.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Take the lead to ensure complete deliverables and managing projects with SaaS vendors.

  • Work as a liaison between 3rd party SaaS Vendors/Internal systems and the business to answer questions and resolve issues.

  • Own communication of project status to the sponsor and stakeholder community.

  • Act as a critical interface between the Data/Analytics COE and the numerous business functions.

  • Influence leaders across the business to ensure that benefits of leveraged applications are realized.

  • Drive maximum business value for delivery of approved business solutions.

  • Establish user documentation and conduct training sessions.

  • Lead the testing and verification process with other PVH systems.

  • Analyze system problems and make suggestions as to how to correct the situation. Considerations need to be made for both short term as well as long term solutions.

  • Proactively seek ways to improve IT value to the organization.

  • Drive customer collaboration and deliver solutions across the organization to achieve competitive advantage for the business.

  • Keep current with industry trends and best practices related to Data Analytics

  • Work in partnership with other wholesale team members to define consistent implementation that aligns with existing technical architecture

  • Oversee and give direction to project team members and other resources.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in data analytics required.

  • Wholesale apparel industry and/or Retail experience is a strong plus. Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Business, Computer Science or related field is required. Skills:

  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from members of the business community

  • Good written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills with internal and external business partners and other IT team members

  • Strong attention to detail, customer-oriented attitude, and ability to stay organized.

  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency, thoroughness and quality toward assigned tasks and goals

  • Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

  • Proficient in Visio a plus

  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of SaaS data solution providers

  • Must be able to deal with multiple and changing priorities while still meeting all established deadlines.

  • Must be able to apply and monitor standards across all development work.

  • Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills to review test results and interpret those results in relation to the business process.

  • Must be able to quickly and accurately diagnose problem situations

  • Able to foster teamwork and collaboration across fragmented groups.

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Must be able to work well in a global business environment, being able to communicate effectively with business associates across different cultures, time zones and languages.
