The Manager of Marketplace Insights will contribute to the development of a smart, successful insights practice that will add meaningful value to the PVH portfolio of brands. This role is responsible for leveraging and balancing a variety of third party data sources from NPD and Google Analytics to clickstream data and social listening to form the foundation of insights-based recommendations. This position combines clear, strategic thinking with a pragmatic, sleeves-rolled-up approach to making things happen. Success in this role will depend upon strong intellectual curiosity, a creative approach to addressing complex challenges, and the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively to a variety of stakeholders.

Position can be located in either our New York, NY or Bridgewater, NJ office location.


  • Analyze a wide range of third-party and syndicated data (NPD, Euromonitor, Google Analytics, and more) in order to guide and influence decisions ranging from product development and merchandising assortment to pricing strategy and marketing

  • Work with NPD client relationship managers to ensure that PVH is maximizing the value and productivity of our subscription

  • Activate and educate around new data sources with an eye to creating demand for and confidence in their content

  • Identify the right external sources of data that will best support the mission of becoming a respected and valued resource for consumer insights

  • Provide reliable, consistent reporting on key themes and trends in fashion, apparel and retail for internal stakeholders

  • Enhance and add value to a wide variety of research and analytics projects by thinking through a broad request in a clear, comprehensive way and leveraging a range of data sources to organize and present the information

  • Determine and identify resources as needed to fulfill team and project requirements KEY STAKEHOLDERS

  • Internal: Consumer Insights team members and Merchandising & Marketing stakeholders

  • External: NPD and other agencies or data providers


  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Six-eight years prior work experience, ideally within a consumer data (i.e. NPD, GfK) or cultural insights (i.e. Sparks & Honey) environment

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with a particular emphasis on the ability to make complex information both understandable and compelling

  • Understands how to take broad direction and independently scope, organize and pull together the assignment

  • Ability to both partner effectively and influence optimally in a complex organization with multiple stakeholders and many priorities

  • Strong, demonstrated analytical and critical-thinking abilities

  • Good understanding of business financials including ROI and profitability

  • Nimble and flexible when it comes to juggling multiple priorities, projects and deadlines
